During the summer, I spend more time enjoying the cabin and not so much in construction. One of our favorite things to do during the summer months is to sit around a campfire in the evenings. We were storing our campfire wood under our front porch, but it was just pile on the ground. This wasn’t the best way to keep the wood dry. So I took some scrap wood I had laying around and build a wood box to hold our campfire wood and to help keep it dry.
