Building a Back Deck

The back door to our cabin has never been used since we built the cabin. Yes, we have throw some water out the back door, but being about 4 feet above the ground, the door was not used for much else. This May I decided to build a deck on the back of the cabin. This will allow us to start using the back door and will also make it a short walk from the cabin to the outhouse.

Railing is now in place.

The steps still need installed, but the drop isn’t nearly as big as it was from the door proper.
